BIOGRAPHY: An incredibly powerful voice artist and passionate filmmaker, Dave's voice can be heard in movie trailers, television and radio commercials, as well as documentaries and animation across North America.
As a filmmaker, Dave thrives on mood and atmosphere to help tell a compelling story. He is completely at home and comfortable with creating his vision of Horror, Thriller, Drama and Mystery.
Over the years Dave has written, produced, shot and directed many short films, most of which exude that intense mood and atmosphere he firmly loves. In 2009, he released his first feature length documentary entitled Breathing Port Robinson.
Dave is also an award-winning actor. In 2003 he won 5 IMTA awards in Los Angeles California.

- Has been jogging and working out since 1995.
- Attended Sir Robert Borden High School in Nepean Ontario from 1994-1999. The same school Sandra Oh attended in the 1980s.
- Has never smoked, drank alcohol, or done any drugs of any kind in his entire life.
- Is the son of Ottawa Sun Journalist Earl McRae.
- Almost died in January of 1995, when hospitalized for Chickenpox Encephalitis. He was in a coma for 2 days and spent another 12 in hospital recovering. A month after being released, Dave returned to his hockey team scoring the winning goal, sending them to the playoffs.
- Favorite sitcoms growing up were ALF and Three's Company.
