She and her husband, 'Tim Reid (I)' (qv), once had a syndicated talk show called "The Tim and Daphne Show" for King World in 1990-1991.
Lovely African-American leading lady best known for TV series work with her husband 'Tim Reid (I)' (qv) (_"Frank's Place" (1987)_ (qv), _"Snoops" (1989)_ (qv) and _"Linc's" (1998)_ (qv)) and her 90s role as 'Will Smith (I)' (qv) 's Aunt Vivian Banks on _"The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" (1990)_ (qv)).
Her first TV work was a continuing role with 'Robert Conrad (I)' (qv) in his series _"The Duke" (1979)_ (qv).
