BIOGRAPHY: Dante has been involved in acting since he was seven and has been a professional stand-up comic since he was 15. In high school, he teamed up with a friend from his drama club, Gerald Wolfe, to form the comedy team of Dante and the Wolfe. They performed at all of the major clubs between San Diego and LA, won contests and even made it on MTV. In 1990, the team split up, and Dante started his solo career. He has appeared on numerous TV shows and in films. He has won many awards for stand up comedy including the top prize on America's Funniest People, many comedy contests and holds the record for winning the most comedy awards given at the B.E.T. comedy awards. He also won "LA's Funniest black comic contest." He is also Co-head writer with his writing partner Anthony Ramos (II) for Big Boy on POWER 106 radio in Los Angeles. He is the only warm-up comic for movies. Warm-up comics traditionally warm up audiences for sitcoms or talk shows, but he does it on the set of films. He has done this on the sets of Man on the Moon (1999), Little Nicky (2000), Spider-Man (2002) and many more.
TRIVIA:

- Dante attended U.S.I.U. with friend 'Jamie Foxx' (qv) in San Diego.

- Dante has performed for the U.S. troops more than any other comedian since 'Bob Hope (I)' (qv). For over two decades, Dante has performed the United States Military in the U.S. and all over the globe.
- (2001) Currently holds the title for winning the most stand up comedy awards on Black Entertainment TV.
- Dante has a job so unique, that he may be the only person in the world with it. Dante does warm up comedy on the sets of movies. Most warm up comics do warm up for audiences of sitcoms and talk shows. Any time a movie has thousands of extras in a scene, they only pay about one hundred of them. Dante is hired to keep them entertained with jokes, games and prizes for eight to ten hours.
