First record ever bought was 'David Bowie (I)' (qv)'s "Let's Dance".
Has four children: Anthony (Patty's son), Chance (adopted with ex-wife Patty from Russia; born in 1998), Daniel Jr. (born in 1992 with then girlfriend, Elise Stepherson), and Vega (born March 1999).
During 'New Kids on the Block' (qv)'s hugely successful tour of the UK in 1990 Danny slipped on a toy car that a fan had thrown on the stage in Manchester. He damaged his ankle ligaments and was forced to return to America for treatment.
His New Kids On The Block band mates are 'Joey McIntyre' (qv), 'Jordan Knight' (qv), 'Jonathan Knight (I)' (qv), and 'Donnie Wahlberg' (qv).
Mother Betty passed away from cancer in September 1999.
