Was featured in a subplot of _Daredevil (2003)_ (qv), but his scenes were eventually deleted. However, he still appears in the film's trailers. His scenes were restored in the 2004 Director's Cut DVD.
His artistic name, Coolio, was initially a joke of his friends, whose compared to him with the Spanish singer 'Julio Iglesias (I)' (qv).
Before finding stardom as a Rap artist he was a firefighter in Southern California's San Bernardino Mountains.
