Over the years, Dr. Davis has become a celebrated motivational speaker, having been the keynote speaker for such organizations as the S.C.L.C, the UNCF, the NAACP Freedom Fund of South Carolina, National Black Meeting Planners, 100 Black Men of America, the National Black Educators convention and more than 125 universities and schools. He is the recipient of more than 150 awards and citations for his service to such organizations as the UNCF, the NAACP Easter Seals and other national and local social or civic organizations.
Wrote "Lookin' Through The Windows" for the 'Jackson 5' (qv), a top 20 pop hit.
Currently serves as executive director of Sunoco Welcome America! Festival
Played Cornelius in 'Pearl Bailey' (qv)'s Broadway version of "Hello, Dolly!" in 1967.
Is an ordained Minister, licensed by the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Is an avid golfer, licensed pilot and a certified scuba diver.
