  • Was nominated for Broadway's 1971 Tony Award as Best Supporting or Featured Actor (Musical) for "Company."
  • Was in the 'Stephen Sondheim' (qv) musical Company (alongside wife 'Beth Howland (I)' (qv)) and played 'Barbara Barrie' (qv)'s husband. Featured on the cast recording.
  • He was nominated for a 1974 Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actor in a Principal Role for his performance in "Rich and Famous" at the Academy Festival Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
