BIOGRAPHY: Cam 'Buzz' Brainard was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. After high school, he attended Central Michigan University. Buzz spent the late 80's in New York City and then came west so he could play golf year `round. Buzz hosts the weekly syndicated show "Altville" (heard on KZLA Sunday nights from 11pm-12am). Altville is an eclectic mix of Alternative Country and Americana music. It hosts artists like Steve Earle, Lyle Lovett, Kasey Chambers, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Robert Earl Keen, Jack Ingram, Emmy Lou Harris and many others.
In case you hadn't noticed, Buzz is a big sports fan, which makes him the perfect host of "This Week In Baseball" on FOX. Buzz is also the voice of the "Disney Channel", host of "Breed All About It," on Animal Planet and the smart aleck narrator of "Maximum Exposure".
He loves hanging out at the Rose Bowl Flea Market, Vegas or the Whitsett Driving Range.
Buzz and his wife Sandy have a precocious blonde haired son named Hank, and two dogs, Frankie and Gibby (named after Kirk Gibson).
TRIVIA:
- He and actor Bob Koherr were once partnered as the NYC comedy duo "Brickface and Stucco," and one of their bits included performing a rock song parody in the guise of ultra-Orthodox Jews.
