BIOGRAPHY: Britta Phillips wanted to pursue a career in music and decided to move to New York City when she was 19. Her dad did jingles in New York, and through his connections, she was able to audition for the cartoon series JEM, and was hired to sing the lead voice of JEM. The series ran from 1985 - 1988, and towards the end of JEM, Britta landed her first movie role in Satisfaction, and was still flying to Atlanta during filming to record the last few songs for JEM.

- Played bass for indie rock group, Ultrababyfat (appears on 2 of their albums)
- Appears in a track on 'Anika Moa' (qv)'s debut CD Thinking Room - Track 8 - Youthful
- After appearing in _Satisfaction (1988)_ (qv), she co-founded band with Jody Porter; The Belltower and moved to London England where they had quite the success with their album.
- Currently recording with Dean Wareham (fellow ex-Luna member). Dean and Britta released their first album "L'Avventura" in 2003.
- Played bass for Australian rocker Ben Lee's band
- After a few years, switched from guitar to bass.
- Britta is now the bassist for the New York indie rock band 'Luna (I)' (qv) (www.fuzzywuzzy.com)
- Is the singing voice for various commercials being aired today
