BIOGRAPHY: Brad Garrett Kesten was born on June 18th, 1971 in Paterson, New Jersey.
Throughout the 1980s, Brad continuously worked on over 50 commercials/ print work, accepting guest roles on several network sitcoms, NBC's Diff'rent Strokes as Billy Garth, Silver Spoons, "Taxi" among others. He also looped/ dubbed many characters for Universal Studios' The Natural, Gremlins, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Uncommon Valor and later was cast in film roles including, "Monster in the Closet", "Summer Camp Nightmare" and "She's out of Control". Brad's voice-over career took off in late 1981 after being cast as the voice of "Charlie Brown" and soon recorded 9 CBS Prime Time Specials, The Emmy Nominated, What Have We Learned, Charlie Brown?, both of the Animated Musicals, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown and the now classic Saturday Morning Cartoon Series "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show!" In 1990, Brad enlisted in the United States Army during Operation Desert Shield as a 19d Cavalry Scout after that taking a D.O.D. Government Security Contractor for Hughes Missile Systems. And by late 1994 Brad was working in Corporate Advertising in Los Angeles. Fast forward to 2007. After a longer than expected absence, Brad returned to Voiceover/ Writing/ Acting full time. In addition to, Brad travels/ appears several times a year at Comic-Con to speak and meet with veteran and up and coming animators, fans and VO artists to answer questions and/ or share memories about the personal years working with the legends Charles Schulz, Bill Melendez and the good times while having voiced Charlie Brown.
