Father of Cynnie & Ronne (by first marriage), Stacy & Lisa (by wife 'Julie London' (qv)'s marriage to 'Jack Webb (I)' (qv)), Kelly, Jody & Reese (twins) (by 'Julie London' (qv)).
Wrote the song Route 66, a hit for 'Nat 'King' Cole' (qv) in 1946. 'Chuck Berry (I)' (qv) covered it as did the Rolling Stones on their first album and many others since.
