  • Friend of 'Dana Delany' (qv).
  • Frequent guest comedian on the TV game show _"Make Me Laugh" (1979)_ (qv) in 1979-1980.
  • His sister, Andrea, died of an aneurysm at age 34. Two other siblings died in childbirth before he was born.
  • Enrolled at Temple University's film school, where he made a student movie entitled _Through Adam's Eyes (1977)_ (qv), a black and white film about a boy who received reconstructive facial surgery. The film was honored with an award of merit at the Student Academy Awards.
  • His sister, Gay, died of scleroderma at age 47. Saget made a TV movie, _For Hope (1996) (TV)_ (qv), based on his sister and her struggle with the disease.
  • According to the Encore True Stories Channel host 'Jay Schadler' (qv), stated during the intro for _For Hope (1996) (TV)_ (qv), the following is true: "Ironically, two years prior to Gay's diagnosis, Saget was a volunteer speaker for the Scleroderma Research Foundation."
