Was offered the job as the announcer on _"The New Price Is Right" (1972)_ (qv), replacing 'Johnny Olson' (qv), but turned it down, due to him announcing a pilot for a game show that failed to make it on air. The job was given to 'Rod Roddy' (qv), who stayed on the show, until his death in 2003.
Co-host of "Dialing for Dollars" on Houston, Texas ABC affiliate KTRK-TV during the 1960s.
