October, 2001 - Served as Mistress of Ceremonies for the 40th Anniversary celebration of La Mama, an Off-Off Broadway theatre that promoted the early careers of playwrights such as Paul Foster, Lanford Wilson, Robert Patrick, William M. Hoffman, Tom Eyen, Sam Shepard, Leonard Melfi and Harvey Fierstein.
Was offered the role of the sex-goddess "Carla" in 'Robert Patrick (III)' (qv)'s play "Kennedy's Children" on Broadway, which won Shirley Knight a "Tony" Award, but chose instead to play the school teacher, "Wanda", because she wanted to build a career as a character-actress.
