Grandson of legendary jazz guitarist (and composer) 'Wes Montgomery (I)' (qv).
Auditioned for a regular role on _"Star Trek: Voyager" (1995)_ (qv). He did not get it but was brought back to audition for the part of Tuvok's son in the Voyager episode "Repression". He did not get that role either, but was well remembered and brought in to audition for a lead on _"Enterprise" (2001)_ (qv), which he got.
