After placing top 13 in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Nationals in Hawaii, representing Fort Worth, Texas, she was chosen by the owner, Ron Rice to live in the "Hawaiian Tropic House" in Malibu, California in which Allison resided with Miss Iceland and Miss Alabama for her first year start in Los Angeles.
Won first place as Fashion Print Winner at International Modeling & Talent Association in New York in 1992. Winning pictures taken by famed photographer Peter Baratti.
