BIOGRAPHY:

Alfonso Quijada started as a salsa, mambo dancer in Havana, Cuba. Years later in Mexico, he worked on his first radio show, creating new waves. After winning best actor in 1991 at the Vancouver, BC, drama festival of the arts, he toured the world with the Vancouver Youth Theater, gaining international exposure. It was then that he was discovered as a film and TV actor. He has worked in more than 50 film, TV projects and commercials. He has completed four screenplays: "Pelicula" (means Movie in Spanish), "Ninety Five Minutes" (pre-production), "Embracing the Sun" (development), and "Consequential Odyssey".
