SYTYCD Results Show: Cat Deeley, Still Adorable (E! Online) - 1 day ago

SYTYCD Results Show: Cat Deeley, Still Adorable(E! Online)E! Online - Is it just us, or have all of the So You Think You Can Dance eliminations this season been perfectly righteous and reasonable? We haven't yet had to face the elimination of a really wonderful dancer (Melissa Sandvig) or a totally endearing personality (Evan Kasprzak). All in all, this season has been pretty copacetic, and tonight brought no change to that standard...

So You Think You Can Dance: The Hat Claims Two More Victims (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
So You Think You Can DanceQuick, give me an adjective.  I honestly don't have an idea how to describe what just happened on So You Think You Can Dance last night, except that they were things that we didn't expect, but somehow expected, too.

And yes, I was talking about that sinister hat.  We've all discussed it before.  Vitolio had yet to get a dance that's up his alley.  Same goes for Caitlin and Jason.  Fan favorite Phillip got another hip-hop routine, and Randi and Evan got something close to their styles, too.  So, I wondered about Karla and Vitolio's quickstep, and whether it's a sign that they're going.  Or, whether Caitlin and Jason will finally prove themselves after being down in the mud for so long.  Or, all those Phillip questions.

The Bachelor: Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney Hear Wedding Bells in the Future (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
molly-jason-abc.JPG
As BuddyTV reported previously, The Bachelor star Jason Mesnick and runner-up girlfriend Molly Malaney appeared yesterday on Good Morning America where Melissa Rycroft serves a special correspondent. The much-awaited TV appearance was Mesnick and Malaney's first together in nearly four months.

Prior to the interview, Good Morning America flashbacked to the drama that unfolded on the season finale of The Bachelor where Mesnick proposed to winner Melissa Rycroft and later dumped her for runner-up Malaney. The clips were heavy to look at for Mesnick and Malaney since the couple are now trying to put the unpleasant past behind.

American Idol: A Lot of Waiting For The Rest of the Top 10 (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
American Idol Top 10And then I started wondering if there's actually anything new with the rest of the Top 10 of the recent American Idol season.  I mean, we've seen contestants outside the final two get record deals and have pretty successful post-Idol careers.  This year is no exception: Kris Allen and Adam Lambert have snagged contracts, as well as fourth-placed Allison Iraheta.  And then we wonder about the rest.

E! Online caught up with them as they rehearsed for the it's-getting-seriously-close American Idol summer tour, and then I realized that they're all pretty much in a state of limbo.
'Jon and Kate Plus 8' Parents Swear to Focus on the Kids (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
jon-and-kate-kids1.jpg
The buzz over Jon and Kate Gosselin's separation hasn't died down, and more so because of the statement filed by the stars of TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8.   A week after they filed their divorce papers, the two commented briefly on the issue through the network's website.  Jon and Kate claimed that it will be the last time they'd be speaking out, because it was time to set their focus on their children.

Despite news that the launch of Kate's cookbook has been delayed, it seems as though her clothing line has been put off course as well.  While her career serves as yet another distraction from raising her children, it shouldn't stop the Gosselin mom from working on her relationship with the family.  After all, she did make a promise.

As the science fiction drama heads to the fourth season, however, the Company might have to take the backseat as a new mysterious group surfaces.

Smallville: Justin Hartley Spills A Lot About Himself (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
Justin HartleyIt's actually funny that the three spoilers for Smallville I spotted this week came from Justin Hartley, and only from Justin Hartley.  And they're about Justin Hartley.  Not implying anything bad here: just a pretty funny thing, at least in my warped and expired sense of humor.  Oh well.  Here then go those details he's been talking about.  I guess the Green Arrow misses shooting those arrows during the break, huh.  Oh, and close your eyes if you have to, now.

So what will he be up to?  "I think he is going to struggle with the things he has been afforded [as a result of] his powers," he told Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello.  "He has sacrificed things and done things that haunt him... It's bad stuff.  We need to get to the bottom of it."
So You Think You Can Dance: With Ridiculously Early 100th Episode Spoilers, It's A Crash Course For Me (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
Jaimie and HokI say that because--and I'll never get tired of admitting this--I'm pretty much the So You Think You Can Dance newbie around here.  While I'm feeling pretty good about my rooting for Caitlin and Jason's alien condom routine two nights ago, I still think I have miles to go, at least with my dance knowledge.  It's funny asking Abbey about what "lines" mean, to be honest.

So there's a little problem when the folks at SYTYCDism--as always, and again, ridiculously early--got their hands on some spoilers for the show's 100th episode, which airs on July 23.  And by spoilers, I don't mean the bit with Katie Holmes performing for the Dizzy Feet Foundation, because let's face it, we all knew that already.  And then they start talking about old routines from seasons past, and I start having a Michael Scofield-type nosebleed, because I don't know what they're talking about.

'Top Chef' Winner to Appear on Radio Show, Talk about Intuition (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
top-chef-hosea-radio.JPG
Top Chef season 5 winner and New Mexico native Hosea Rosenberg is set to be featured on the BlogTalkRadio show entitled "A Little LightWork with Jen & Amy" on July 9 Thursday, to dabble on the connection of "cooking and intuition" by exploring his spiritual side.

"Hosea exhibited remarkable focus and a calm confidence during last season's Top Chef," says co host Amy Grant. "He was such a pleasure to watch that I was excited to see him win. Meeting him in person was like meeting an old friend - he seems very much the same as he appeared on television."

The judges of Top Chef reportedly made a number of references on intuition throughout the season, which Grant describes as "a natural part of great cooking." She adds that, "anyone can follow a recipe, but it is only through intuition that new flavor combinations can be created."

Prior to his sting on Top Chef, Rosenberg was the head chef at Jax Fish House in Boulder. For winning Top Chef, he received a cash prize of $100,000, on top of a showcase at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.
'Hell's Kitchen' Season 6 Sneak Peek (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
hells-kitchen-sneak-peek.JPG
En route to its July 21 premiere, Hell's Kitchen looks like it's going to be hotter than ever, when the Fox cooking show sizzles with 16 new contestants go under the knife, so to speak, of the infamous Chef Gordon Ramsay. The sixth season of Hell's Kitchen will kick off with a two-hour premiere to introduce the 16 people feature in its sixth season. Of particular interest was a rain of shrimps shown in the sneak peek released by Fox.

This season's winner of Hell's Kitchen will win the position of head chef at Araxi Restaurant in Whistler, British Columbia, in the first time a Canadian-set restaurant is featured on the show. He or she will also have the added privilege of joining executive chef James Walt in welcoming the world during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

On the first episode, Ramsay will go by the tradition, asking the contestants to cook him their signature dishes. The men and women will be pitted against each other in separate teams, with the winning team (and gender) awarded a special prize.

If you're a fan of NCIS director Leon Vance, then you're in for a real treat next season. Rocky Carroll revealed he will be appearing on both NCIS and its spin off NCIS: Los Angeles next season, TV Guide reports. And judging from the number of episodes, it won't be a minor gig for the actor.

"I'll be keeping my normal routine on the 'mother ship,' and I'll be doing at least six of the first 13 episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles," Carroll said.

Less than a couple of weeks before the return of HBO's Hollywood-themed series Entourage, guest star Emmanuelle Chriqui revealed to New York Daily News that fans of the series will start to see more of her this season as her storylines will venture deeper. For that matter, all the other characters on Entourage will see some change in how their motivations are shaped.

"I feel like all of the characters are evolving this season. Everyone is growing and growing up," Chriqui says. "Priorities have changed a little bit, which happens in life, and these guys are realizing that there are other things, besides work and movies, that are really important, too."

'The Real World: Cancun' Cast Admits He's Crazy (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
real-world-joey.JPG
Now infamous after the taco-spitting accident, Real World: Cancun cast Joey Rozmus does not have qualms about owning up to his own brand of insanity, he says in an interview with Boston Herald.  Rozmus, 21, of Methuen, Massachusetts, spit on the tacos of fellow Real World cast member Ayiiia on the latest episode of the MTV reality series. Reacting on the large number of Massachusetts natives on the show's 22 seasons, he reasons it's probably how Bay Staters live.

"I think a lot of us are just kind of stubborn and we are definitely kind of (expletive). We are bitter for six months of the year because of the winter. People around here have such crazy personalities, from being mean to nice, to really crazy. The people from the area who have been on the show, you can tell we have something different going on," says Rozmus.
Did 'America's Got Talent' Find its Susan Boyle? (BuddyTV) - 2 days ago
agt-kevin-skinner-resized.JPG
Hard-pressed to discover its own elusive Susan Boyle, America's Got Talent, some observers say, may have found what it's looking for in the person of an unemployed chicken-catcher from Mayfield, Kentucky.

Thirty-five-year-old Kevin Skinner strutted into the stage in a gray wool jacket and washed up jeans. In the introduction, he said he plays the guitar and writes songs.  "In the country, things move just a little slower than they do in the big city. I'm a down home kind of country boy. I like hunting fish. It can get real interesting. It's nice to sit out on the porch. You know, a good place to gather all your thoughts and maybe even count some stars.  When I go out on stage, I hope that the crowd will like what I'm doing."
