BBC Parliament is available to view on freeview, cable and satellite. It was launched on September 23, 1998. It replaced The Parliamentary Channel. The channel shows both live and recorded coverage from the House of Commons, the Northern Ireland Assembly, the Scottish Parliament, the Welsh Assembly and the House of Lords.
