Movie (1991)

"Bob's a special kind of friend. The kind that drives you crazy!"

Bob Wiley is a man who can hardly leave his house without his lips going numb from fear. • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Good Morning America crew arrives for filming, Freud bust is on mantle in background. When crew actually begins filming, bust has been replaced by duck decoy for full filming sequence.
  • The vacation house where this was filmed was actually in Virginia on Smith Mountain Lake.
  • Movie Goof (factual errors): In the scene where Dr. Leo Marvin is receiving a traffic ticket from a NH State Trooper, the trim on the Trooper's uniform is yellow/gold. In fact, NH State Police uniforms have green piping on the pockets and epaulets of the shirt, and a green stripe on the outside leg of the pants.
  • Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Bob first meets Dr. Marvin Bob states, "There are two kinds of people in the world..." Then Dr. Marvin says that maybe Bob's wife didn't leave him but instead he left her. Bob responds by reversing the statement to say that his wife left him and that he didn't leave her. Then Dr. Marvin agrees with Bob's version.
