Movie (1992)

When a sleazy TV exec offers Wayne and Garth a fat contract to tape their late-night public access show at his network, they can't believe their good fortune. But they soon discover the road from basement to big-time is a gnarly one, fraught with danger, temptation and ragin' party opportunities.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

During the "Terminator 2" parody scene that has Robert Patrick reprising his role as the evil T-1000 Terminator, the song "Time Machine" can be heard in the background. This song comes from the 1992 Black Sabbath album called "Dehumanizer" which featured a painted image of a Terminator Endoskeleton disguised in a grim reaper costume.
Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Before the taping of the first episode of Wayne's World in the studio, the announcer asks Garth how to pronounce his last name, yet he never actually mentions Garth's last name when announcing the hosts of the show.
Movie Goof (continuity error): Supposedly playing in the basement at night, daylight is visible through the window over Garth's shoulder.
Movie Goof (continuity error): In the donut shop, in the scene where Wayne and Garth make up, look closely at the straws Garth has stabbed into his donut figurines - one of them changes from red to blue between shots (the director acknowledges this in the DVD commentary.)
