Vampire's Kiss

Movie (1988)

"Seduction. Romance. Murder. The things one does for love."

A publishing executive is visited and bitten by a vampire and starts exhibiting erratic behavior. He pushes his secretary to extremes as he tries to come to terms with his affliction. The vampire continues to visit and drink his blood, and as his madness deepens, it begins to look as if some of the events he's experiencing may be hallucinations.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

Movie Goof (revealing mistake): During both sex scenes with Rachel and Peter in Peter's bed, the flesh colored pad covering Jennifer Beals' nipple is clearly visible.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Peter is pierced by stake, the stake is on the middle of his body. You can see that the stake is on the button of his shirt. On the next shot, the stake become slightly to the left of his body.
Peter's strange accent is supposed to be a fake accent used by the character because he thinks he sounds more "elegant" and "smarter" (hence the literary agent job). The accent comes and goes throughout the movie and is more prominent when trying to impress people, and less in scenes with people like the psychiatrist.
Nicolas Cage ate a real cockroach for this film - it reportedly took three takes. He once said about the experience, "Every muscle in my body didn't want to do it, but I did it anyway."
