Valentine Goofs/Mistakes

Movie Goof (revealing mistake): 'Chad' the cadaver is seen breathing before Shelley leaves the autopsy table the first time.
Movie Goof (continuity error): The rose appears beside the champagne near the hot tub a cut too early - it should appear after Paige looks away, but it's there before.
Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): When Kate is on the phone complaining about the water being cut off, the iron overheats. Kate then runs over to it, and the shadow of a crew member is cast on the iron and ironing board, then moves out of sight.
Movie Goof (factual errors): A medical student wouldn't be starting a cadaver dissection the night before her final.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When the Cherub grabs Ruthie and throws her into the shower glass panel, look very closely and the glass is all smashed before she even touches it.
Movie Goof (continuity error): In the scene where Dorothy is letting Campbell live in her home. He picks up his bag and puts it on his shoulder. Then the next scene when he leans in to kiss her, there is no strap on his shoulder. Then it's back again in the next shot.
Movie Goof (continuity error): During several of the death scenes, the amount of blood on the killer's mask changes noticeably.
Movie Goof (continuity error): Shelley is working on a cadaver and has surgical gloves on. When she thinks someone is after her they show a close up of her squeezing the surgical knife, with absolutely no gloves on.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Dorothy and Campbell exchange gifts, Dorothy gives Campbell a watch, he opens the box twice.
Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Shelly is making the incision on the corpse, she says that she is doing a transverse cut. However she was doing a sagittal incision.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When the Kate gives Adam the note on the back of her dry cleaning ticket she writes it very sloppily, but then towards the end of the movie when she finds Detective Vaugh's head in the pond with the same note next to it, it's written very neatly.
Movie Goof (continuity error): The Cherub shuts the glass trap to kill Paige, but in one shot the glass thing is open.
Movie Goof (factual errors): The cadaver dissection starts with the back of the cadaver, not the stomach.
Movie Goof (factual errors): Cadavers, being people who have died, are usually elderly and sickly looking, not young, healthy, and apparently uninjured.
Movie Goof (continuity error): Kate's Beretta goes from unloaded to cocked and ready to fire, yet all she did was reinsert the clip.
Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Shelly is preparing to perform the autopsy apart from she wearing surgical gloves, she should also have worn a lab coat.
Movie Goof (factual errors): When the killer throws the drill into the hot tub, it blows a circuit in the house. A cordless drill would not do that.
Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Shelley refers to her cadaver as a corpse; no medical student would ever do such a thing.
Movie Goof (continuity error): As Shelley runs with the knife, it disappears and reappears in her hand - at one point reappearing in the wrong hand.
Movie Goof (continuity error): In the end scene, Kate hugs Adam. But in the next shot when Adam takes Kate's hand she is sitting up right. In the next shot, she is hugging him again.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Adam gives Kate the lollipop as a gift, Kate writes "IOU TLC" on a laundry ticket. As she takes the ticket out her bag, there is the number "6443" printed in red on it. When she hands him the ticket though, the number is now "6335."
Movie Goof (factual errors): Shelley is bothered by seeing the face of her cadaver so she covers it. In fact, the face of the cadaver is usually kept covered from the start of dissection until the dissection of the head, which is done last.
Movie Goof (continuity error): After the funeral near the start of the movie Adam kisses Kate on one cheek then the camera changes and we see him pulling away from the other cheek.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Shelley meets her friend in the hallway, he drapes his backpack over one shoulder before leaving. In the reverse shot of him leaving, his backpack is missing.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): Obvious stunt double when Paige gets thrown headfirst into hot tub.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Campbell is in the basement, he drops a book of matches. They fall all over the floor, but in the next shot they change their position and lay in a neat little formation.
