Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • Movie Goof (continuity error): Helen refuses to press the green button if Younger falls asleep and H leaves the interrogation room with the remote in his own hand. Next scene, when he meets his wife the remote is not in his hand. Then we see the remote inside the interrogation room.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): After the present has been established as Wednesday, the FBI agents see the tape in which it is stated that three bombs will go off on Friday. Agent Vincent then says "But that's 4 days from now".
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): SPOILER: When the FBI agent is disarming the bomb you can clearly see that he is using Microsoft Excel on his computer and that he types in gibberish when he is supposedly reprogramming the processor to disarm the bomb. A real bomb expert would use more relevant micro-processor programing software.
  • Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): General Paulson continually pronounces the word "nuclear" incorrectly, saying "nucular" even though the rest of the military personnel pronounce it correctly.
