• For the UK release, the film was renamed twice. The original trailer was titled Unaccompanied Minors; the second trailer and the film referred to it as Grounded, and the third trailer had the title as Grounded: Unaccompanied Minors.
• Movie Goof (factual errors): Charlie zips himself up in the red suitcase without putting his hand outside of it. This is impossible since there is no suitcase built to zip up from the inside.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): When Katherine escapes from Mary Lynn, she still has makeup on and her hair is in braids, but when she is found sleeping on the sofa in the lobby, she has no makeup on and her hair is unbraided and looks as though it was never touched.
• Movie Goof (continuity error): After the fire department extinguishes the car fire at the gas station the car's parking lights are on. It is very unlikely the parking lights would still be working after the car exploded. In the very next scene the car's parking lights are off.
