Arthur and his two children, Kathy and Bobby, inherit his Uncle Cyrus's estate: a glass house that serves as a prison to 12 ghosts. When the family, accompanied by Bobby's Nanny and an attorney, enter the house they find themselves trapped inside an evil machine.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

Movie Goof (continuity error): When Kathy is attacked by the Jackal, he claws at her right breast and it falls out of the bra (but her nipple covered by a scrap of her shirt). In the next shot, her breast is back in the bra perfectly.
C. Ernst Harth ('The Great Child') has a cameo as 'Giant Baby' (blind-date of Laurie (Anna Paquin)) in Trick 'r Treat (2007). Both films are Warner Bros. releases.
Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): Bobby falls on the floor in the basement, dropping his recorder. In the background, amongst the many whispers of the ghosts, Jean warns Bobby to get up and leave the basement. Right after that, a voice whispers in the background, and the caption reads "Leave me alone." However, with the volume turned up, the voice (belonging to the Jackal) clearly cackles a sarcastic 'Listen to your mother!'
Movie Goof (continuity error): When the Angry Princess lies in the tub, Kathy's sleeves are alternately up/down between shots.
