Movie Goof (anachronisms): As the Black and Tans drive through the village, they pass a blue house with modern PVC windows.
Movie Goof (anachronisms): As Damien talks to the driver at the train station, modern concrete markings for the visually impaired are visible along the platform edge.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Teddy delivers Damien's letter to Sinead, he puts his cap on, gets on his motorcycle, and puts his goggles on the handlebar. In a wide shot, the goggles are around his neck.
In the cinema scene, the man at the piano is really playing it. He's Neil Brand, one of Britain's leading silent cinema accompanists, who in 2006 featured significantly as a composer and accompanist in the BBC television series "Paul Merton's Silent Clowns".
