- Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Walt and Mouna return from their evening on Broadway, he remarks that it's 12:30 (presumably at night), however the window behind them clearly shows daylight shining through the vegetation.
- Movie Goof (factual errors): After the announcement at the airport about their flight about to board, Walter and Mouna go to the security control area. Normally passengers would have already gone through security at that point, rather than casually walking towards there after the announcement for the flight departure is made.
- Movie Goof (factual errors): During their first djembe lesson, Tarek tells tells Walter to stop playing a 4/4 rhythm. However, even though Tarek talks about playing a 3/4 rhythm, they play a 12/8 rhythm. However, this could be 3/4 as 12 is divided into groups of 3.
- Movie Goof (errors in geography): The deportation center is supposed to be in Queens, but the street signs on the corner are obviously those of Manhattan - not only does it refer to W 115th St (there is no "W" or "E" in Queens), but it's also the telltale green/white color scheme of Manhattan street signage.
