Antoine and Kenny Tyler are NCAA college basketball players, and Antoine is the star. Suddenly Antoine dies of heart attack and Kenny has to fill his shoes as leader of team. Some time later, Antoine returns as a ghost and helps Kenny in game and in life, but Kenny changes in the process and doesn't quite like it.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

Movie Goof (continuity error): When Antoine is a kid shooting in the street he is right handed, but when he is an adult he is left handed.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Kenny is in the locker room, he closes his locker. It is alternately open/closed in subsequent shots.
Movie Goof (factual errors): At the end of the game, when the clock is winding down, the shot clock is still on and it has more time on it than the game clock does. If the shot clock has more time on it than the game clock, then the shot clock should be turned off.
Movie Goof (miscellaneous): In the Fresno State game, there are several shots of the players taken from the ground level. The ceiling above is that of the old Hec-Edmunson Pavilion at the University of Washington. At one point you can even read the name Huskies on the scoreboard signs. Then as the game progresses, the ceiling is shown again, and it is that of the arena in California.
