Movie Goof (continuity error): When Buddy is in the barber chair, his coat collar moves from inside the barber apron to outside in various shots.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When the car comes out of the car wash, (the car with the cop in the trunk) the attendant is drying the driver's window which is half way down. Then as he opens the door to get in and force the driver over, the window is all the way up.
Movie Goof (continuity error): The position of Roy Scheider's gun on Larry Haines' face does not match in the editing.
Movie Goof (crew or equipment visible): During the car chase, just before crossing the bridge the camera team can clearly be seen filming from another angle. The other angle appears immediately after making it look like they went round the same corner twice.
