Movie Goof (continuity error): The candle headpieces burn down faster at some times than at others.
Denis Leary only fires his gun once in the entire film. It was fired at the smoke detector to stop it from beeping.
Movie Goof (factual errors): In the movie, the characters celebrate St. Lucia's Day on Christmas Eve, which is actually celebrated on December Thirteenth. Also, according to Swedish custom, only female members of the family are to wear the candle headpieces, not everyone as shown in the movie.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When Gus is in the car with Lloyd and Caroline and Lloyd runs a stop sign, Caroline is clearly not wearing a seat belt as she looks behind the car. Once the three are facing forward again, the seat belt is magically across her chest.
