Movie Goof (continuity error): When Mia is eating ice cream she gets some on the side of her face but in the next shot it has disappeared.
Movie Goof (continuity error): In the "Dancing footman" scene, it cuts back to the interior of the room the footman is dancing outside of. The same footman is standing directly behind the Queen. Then it cuts back to the dancing footman in the hallway.
In the parade sequence with the orphans, in the top right corner, there is a sign for the Genovian National Theatre's production of "Wrong Turn at Lungfish". This play was co-written by Garry Marshall and Lowell Ganz.
The Disneyland Hotel has transformed a bedroom of the Presidential Suite into a re-creation of Princess Mia's suite from the movie. The room includes set pieces from the movie.
