  • Movie Goof (continuity error): The mustard stain disappears from Shane's shirt between shots at the teen party at the Plummer residence.
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): SPOILER: When the kids are escaping from Mr. Chung they lock the door. He punches a hole in the door. The hole is perfectly round like it had been cut out.
  • Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): When Shane is using the Peter Panda Dance to get past the security to the program Ghost, he steps back one step to avoid a blade that comes down in front of him. You hear him say, "One step back," but his lips don't move.
  • The address handed to Shane (3 Rosemary Lane) is the real address of the house. The house is actually in Toronto, though.
