  • Movie Goof (continuity error): At the wake during the scuffle, a picture behind Will Ferrell changes with each cutaway. The picture goes from askew to straight to askew multiple times.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): In the scene where Martin and Fosse are speaking to schoolchildren and get a call to collar Gamble and Hoitz, Martin is shown holstering his gun. Then the camera cuts away to the children, and Martin is shown with gun in hand again.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Allen and Terry are crossing the bridge in the Prius, a Volvo semi-truck can be seen next to them on the driver's side. When the angle changes to an overhead shot, without the dialogue breaking, there is no truck there.
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): In the scene where Gamble gives Hoitz the "FBI" mug, Hoitz takes the mug out of the box and turns it around 270 degrees, showing that there is no logo on the mug.
