  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Jennings shows Thorn the clipping from the Rome newspaper announcing the birth of Thorn's son, it is obvious that the prop "newspaper" has only been printed on one side of the page.
  • Movie Goof (errors in geography): Father Brennan asks Robert Thorn to meet him at Bishop's Park, by the bridge. Bishop's Park is in Fulham/Putney, which is in SW6. However, in the scene where they meet, the camera pans over a street sign for Orange Yard W1, which is in Central London close to Soho.
  • Movie Goof (factual errors): When Thorn and the photographer arrive in Megido they're stopped at an Israeli check point, but the Israeli army doesn't use the German style helmets used by the US Army and other armies.
  • Movie Goof (factual errors): The skeleton of the baby in the grave appears to have a fully formed skull. If the child died as a baby or even a year later, the sutures would not have closed up yet, leaving the skull basically in pieces.
