The animated short Box-Office Bunny (1990) was released theatrically with this movie. That short can also be found on the VHS release of this movie.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Nimbly lands on the ship, the wires that is holding him are visible.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Nimbly is flying closer to Xayide's wagon you see the wires pulling him up.
Movie Goof (continuity error): Mr. Koreander's name begins with a K in the credits as well as on the window of his bookstore, but as Bastian's father reads in the car, we see that it begins with a C within the text of The Neverending Story.
