Movie Goof (continuity error): Jackie uses a "NOD" (night optical device) to check out the dock before they get out of the water, but leaves the lens cap in place.
After seeing credited director 'Gordan Chan''s rough cut, Columbia hired 'Doug Aarniokoski' to shoot new sequences and re-edited the film extensively.
The original title for this film was "Highbinders".
According to tour guides at Dublin Castle in Ireland, Jackie Chan hopped onto the throne during filming of The Medallion. This made him the first person to sit on the throne since King George V.
