A mother and her two teenage sons move to a seemingly nice and quiet small coastal California town yet soon find out that it's overrun by bike gangs and vampires. A couple teenage friends take it upon them selves to hunt down the vampires that they suspect of the of a few mysterious murders and restore peace and calm to their town.

  • Movie Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): When the beach concert star performs his song "I Still Believe", his lips are out of synch to the lyrics.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): Water on Max's coat after it was thrown on him.
  • SPOILER: In the cave of the Lost Boys you can see a poster of Jim Morrison who recorded the original version of "People are Strange" with The Doors. And when Star and Laddie are being carried into Sam's room, you can see a poster of Echo & the Bunnymen who recorded the version used in the movie.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Michael is having his first "Vampiric episode" , he fall to his knees in front of the refrigerator, spilling the carton of milk he'd been drinking from, leaving it fully open and facing more or less towards the fridge... When Lucy enters the kitchen later, the carton is only half open and facing directly towards the doorway.
