- Movie Goof (errors in geography): The German airline Lufthansa has no direct flights to Italy from the USA.
- Movie Goof (plot holes): Gordon tries to cover up for Lizzie throughout the movie. Near the end, Gordon tells Mrs. Ungermeyer that he was the one sneaking around. Gordon was with the field trip the whole time, so how could Mrs. Ungermeyer believe that Gordon was sneaking?
- Movie Goof (factual errors): The award show at the end of the movie takes place in the Roman Coliseum. The Coliseum has only 1/7 of its floor covered by a sand-covered wooden deck and there is seating for only about 700 people. Also the Coliseum is only 35% accessible and people have not been allowed at the top of it in 1500 years. So there could not be such a massive stage and audience in the Coliseum.
