• Movie Goof (revealing mistake): When Harold Lloyd is aboard the abandoned ship, which appears to have been aground for many years, there are some shots facing toward the bow in which the horizon created by Catalina Island can be seen to be rising and falling, as on a floating vessel.
• This was the last film in which Harold Lloyd appeared with Jobyna Ralston.
• All the male lead characters have the same first name as the actors who play them, with the exception of Jim Hickory, whose first name comes from the actor's last name, James.
