  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Jessica is getting her nails painted as a man by April the phone rings and Jessica's foot placement on April's knee changes during the shots.
  • The Bongo Player, played by Adam Sandler, is based on a character from a Saturday Night Live sketch featuring 'Rob Schneider' where he played a store owner who kept saying, "You put your weed in there."
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Jake speaks to April after his skiing trip, he very obviously has love bites all over his neck, yet whilst changing after the football game only a few moments later, there is no sign of any of them.
  • When the rival cheerleaders from the Foxes team exits the stores and get caught by the security guards, one says: "Let's go Wynona". This is a reference to Winona Ryder who was convicted of shoplifting in November 2002.
