Movie Trivia/Goofs

→ View All
  • Movie Goof (factual errors): When Amanda is searching for her holiday, on the net appears a window with the countries' flags. The flag for Poland is not as it should be.
  • Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Arthur says to Iris that Cary Grant told him he came from Surrey, whereas Grant was born in Bristol, hence the statue erected to him there.
  • Movie Goof (errors in geography): Although the English scenes are set in Surrey, the cottage is typically Cotswold, as is the "restaurant" used in lunch date scene, which is ironic as "The Cotswolds" was first rejected by Amanda.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): When Amanda is fist taken to the cottage she has to walk as the limo can't get up the path, later when she wants to go back to the cottage she has to walk as the limo can't make it up the path, however when she is going home after the holiday the (exact same) limo is waiting outside the gate for her at the top of the lane it apparently can't get up.
