Movie Goof (continuity error): When Andy throws her sidekick into the fountain, she is holding it in one hand. The reverse shot of the face of the sidekick shows her holding it with both hands.
Movie Goof (continuity error): The height of the candle in the cupcake alternates between shots.
Anna Wintour, the supposed inspiration for Miranda Priestly, reportedly really liked the film despite initial skepticism. She enjoyed Meryl Streep for her "decisive nature".
