  • During the filming of the tsunami scene, Jake Gyllenhaal needed to use the restroom very badly, so he went in the water tank.
  • Movie Goof (factual errors): It's stated that the temperature that froze the gas lines was -150 degrees but when the pilot opens the door you can see his breath. At 90 degrees below zero your breath will freeze and fall to the ground.
