Movie Trivia/Goofs

  • In the beginning of the movie, when the four kids go to Narnia, they are in the Strand subway station. In German, "strand" means "beach". When they arrive in Narnia, they arrive on a beach.
  • Movie Goof (continuity error): After Miraz backhands General Glozelle, there is blood on the general's lips. In closeup, only his bottom lip is bloody. His hands are full with a sword, so he cannot have wiped his mouth.
  • Movie Goof (anachronisms): At the beginning, when Susan picks up a magazine from the news stand, it is apparently a December 1939 edition magazine. This is not possible, as the Pevensie children were evacuated to the countryside at the start of the previous movie, which (as it featured an air raid on London) could not have happened before September 1940, and it is quite clearly summer during the scenes at Professor Diggory's house. A few minutes later Peter mentions they've been back from Narnia for a year, meaning that it is at least May 1942 now.
  • SPOILER: A romantic subplot between Anna Popplewell's character and Ben Barnes' Prince Caspian was in an early draft of the script but was mostly dropped. In the book they don't even meet until the very end of the story.
