The Blues Brothers

"They’ll never get caught. They’re on a mission from God."

Direct out of jail, Jake Blues and his Brother Elwood are off on a “mission from God” to raise funds for the orphanage in which they grew up. The only thing they can do is do what they do best: play music. So they get their old band together and they're on their way yet not without getting in a bit of trouble here and there.

  • Movie Goof (errors in geography): In front of the palace hotel is an Ohio flag.
  • DIRTRADE(John Landis):[ipanema]: the music in the elevator.
  • Movie Goof (revealing mistake): Prior to colliding with The Good Ol' Boys' RV, the two state troopers are shown parked behind a ground-level billboard. They then spot "... that shitbox Dodge again", and gear up for the chase. However, when the switch is made to the external shot, the troopers' car can clearly be seen moving at full speed from a place somewhere to the right of the billboard and passing behind it, at which point the crash with the RV occurs.
  • Lobbying from the Italian-American community ensured that the line "The Mafia's out there" was re-dubbed to "The Mob's out there" when the Blues Brothers was shown on television.
