The Anniversary Party

Movie (2001)

While celebrating their reconciliation and six years of marriage, the American actress Sally Nash (Jennifer Jason Leigh) and the British novelist Joe Therrian (Alan Cumming) receive their close friends, some colleagues and their next door neighbors in a party. Under the effect of Ecstasy, revelations are disclosed and relationships deteriorate among the group.

Movie Trivia/Goofs

Movie Goof (continuity error): After Judy throws the diving sticks into the pool, several guests jump in, including a shirtless Joe. In the next shot, Joe is on the grass, wearing his shirt and dry.
The actors all wrote their own speeches for the toast scene, with the exception of Gwyneth Paltrow's, which was scripted. (according to the featurette on the DVD).
It is mentioned that Cal just recently won an Oscar. Kevin Kline, who plays Cal, is an Oscar-winner in real-life.
The yoga instructor is played by Jennifer and Alan's real yoga instructor.
