Russell Crowe filmed all of his scenes in 9 days.
Movie Goof (revealing mistake): Near the end when the Detective is sponging off his wife's dead body, she has bikini tan lines, which make no sense since she's been paralyzed in the hospital for a long time.
Movie Goof (continuity error): When checking the back seat of his car for Eric, Detective Cristofuoro cocked his gun and the slide stayed open, showing the gun was unloaded. In the next shot, the gun's slide was closed.
