Movie Trivia/Goofs

→ View All
  • The curved knife used in the final fight is a karambit. It's an Indonesian /Malaysian weapon and the finger hole in the handle makes it very difficult to disarm, which was evident in the fight scene.
  • Movie Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): SPOILER: On the boat toward the end of the movie the sheik's main guard makes a mistake in Arabic when telling his guys "there is a man on the boat" - the word "boat" in Arabic is "Safina", but he says "Fasina".
  • The martial art style used by Liam Neeson is Nagasu Do. It's a hybrid martial art style that borrows from Judo, Aikido and Ju Jitsu.
  • Movie Goof (incorrectly regarded as a mistake): When Bryan is listening to the mobile phone and the call ends, the audio sounds like a home phone cutting off instead of a mobile. However, it is actually the sound of the phone being smashed, which is confirmed later when the phone is discovered smashed.
