The scene in which Jennifer hovers over Joey's bed while he sleeps was achieved by turning the camera on its side. A makeshift nightstand and lamp were mounted to a wall, both actors were standing upright and Jessica Paré simply dipped in and out of frame.
When "Joey Winner" ('Rob Stefanuik') get thrown to the wall by "Queeny" (Dimitri Coats) the painting hanging on the wall looks like "Alice Cooper" in 16th century clothing.
